How Is Chin Liposuction Performed?
Chin liposuction is a day surgery performed on an outpatient basis. For your comfort, general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation is used. This procedure is generally quick, lasting only 30 to 60 minutes.
Once you are comfortably sedated, Dr. Gonzalez will make incisions, typically under the chin or behind the ears. He will then use a cannula to gently break up and suction out fat, sculpting strategically to create more pleasing contours. Finally, he’ll close the incisions and send you home with a designated driver to rest and recover.
